The government now recognizes the need for increased support and treatment for patients who suffer mental illness.
Rehab One has a team of psychologists with expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and dealing with a range of psychological disorders. They are experienced in working collaboratively with GPs to improve health outcomes for patients suffering from mental illness.
The aim is to ensure that your patient’s psychological condition(s) no longer impede their cognitive, emotional or social functioning.
Our services:
Patients can receive Focused Psychological Strategies consisting of:
- Psycho-education
- Cognitive Behavioural interventions for improved functioning
- Relaxation strategies
- Skills for interpersonal and social difficulties
- Therapeutic intervention for alleviating distress associated with depressed mood and affect.

Who to refer:
Those patients who present with:

How to refer:

Identify those patients who you have assessed to have a “mental health disorder” and have a GP mental Health Care item.
- Complete a rehab One referral form or send a referring letter, signed and dated by you.
- Advise if any other treatment is being received by the patients eg psychiatry.
- Fax the referral to us and have your patient phone to arrange their first appointment.
