Rehab One’s initial assessment of the injured worker is the first step to determine whether he/she is suitable for a program, and to prioritise the most critical barriers to return-to-work.
An assessment will be conducted by a fully trained Rehab One physiotherapist who will assess the physical and work-related barriers and also screen for psychosocial barriers ("Yellow Flags").
The need for additional cognitive behavioural therapy by a psychologist will be evaluated and discussed with you (the referrer) and relevant parties, particularly where high levels of disability and unhelpful beliefs and behaviours associated with return-to-work and upgrading are prevalent.
Rehab One has a CD-ROM which could assist you (the referrer) with step-by-step instructions as to how to identify and measure yellow flags.
I would like a copy of the Rehab One (FREE) CD-ROM to assist with screening.
